Characteristics and Restoration of Old Growth Forests

Coverts Cooperator and Duxbury Land Trust Trustee Jessica Engels shares that the Land Trust is hosting a program with Vermont Book Award Finalist, Ethan Tapper. Ethan is the author of How to Love a Forest, and is well-known for his work in forest management, conservation and ecosystem stewardship. Ethan will talk about the characteristics, ecology, and managemen of old-growth forests in Vermont, and how they play an essential role in the resilience of our forests. Everyone is welcome and admission is free. The evening will start with a brief annual report and the election of trustees. Refreshments will be served.
