Join Cold Hollow to Canada on Saturday, October 30, at 2:00pm for a presentation by Michael Clough and his live animal companions from the Southern Vermont Natural History Museum!
The presentation will bring us through the history of Vermont with a special look at events that shaped the way we use the land around us. The animal ambassadors will serve as example species as we look at how different events in our history changed the land and the species that could live on it. We'll explore some facets of human/animal interactions, our impact on the landscape and the resiliency of nature. Opportunities for questions and conversation support the live animal encounters and artifacts.
Please bring face masks and prepare to be outdoors for this event. Blankets and lawn chairs are welcome. The presentation is intended to engage participants of all ages. The Waterville Town Green is at 544 VT Route 109.
We're planning to have good weather... but we'll use the Town Hall as a back-up venue. It is late October, after all.
