Please join scientists from the Vermont Center for Ecostudies (VCE) and colleagues at the Norwich Inn on January 10th from 7-8 pm, for a cold brew and stimulating conversation. Bridget Butler, Program Director at Cold Hollow to Canada, will tell you more than you thought you would ever want to know about roadkill in Vermont. Bridget will discuss her innovative citizen science initiative, WildPaths, created to understand how wildlife move across the landscape. We promise you will never look at roadkill the same way again, and you might just be persuaded to stop and snap a photograph to submit to WildPaths.
Bridget Butler, better known as the Bird Diva, is a naturalist living in the Cold Hollow Mountains of Vermont. In addition to leading birding tours and workshops, Bridget started the Crows in Vermont iNaturalist project and is the Program Director for Cold Hollow to Canada, who’s work ensures that a healthy and intact forested landscape supports a strong and sustainable local economy through stewardship across the Northern Forest.
