The Belvidere Planning Commission invites you to attend the Belvidere Bog Wetlands Walk and Paddle Tour on September 9th! Join the Belvidere Planning Commission and special guest, Jeff Parsons, Wildlife Biologist and Bog Specialist from Arrowwood Environmental, to discuss the use and value of the Bog, and explore its unique natural communities up close and personal! Jeff Parsons will lead a paddling tour of plant and wildlife communities found in Belvidere Bog.
Please bring your non-motorized boat (ex: canoe, kayak) to join the paddling tour. A limited number of boats will be available for participants who do not have access to a boat. If you are bringing your own boat, please wash it prior to the program to avoid transport of invasive species.
